Tenebrae: From Darkness to Light

We are SO excited to be joining director Emily Isaacson & the Oratorio Chorale for their upcoming concert, "Tenebrae".

Saturday, March 7, 3pm - St. Luke's in Portland

Sunday, March 8, 3pm - St. John's in Brunswick

They've put together a beautiful program of medieval, Renaissance, & contemporary music (a cappella and with organ) around themes of emerging from the darkness into light. A few of the many highlights include the famous Allegri "Miserere" and the amazing Pärt "Salve Regina".

For our part, we will be singing the gorgeous Bruckner motet "Os justi" , and the Elgar "Lux aeterna" (adapted from his famous "Nimrod" variation).

Our ensemble for this occasion:
Mary Sullivan, Caroline Musica Koelker & Erin Chenard ~ Soprano
Joëlle Morris  & Jazmin DeRice ~ Mezzo-Soprano

Jesse Wakeman & David Myers, Jr. ~ Tenor
Nate Menifield & JE Scott ~ Baritone
John David Adams ~ Bass-baritone

Be sure to get your tickets at the advance price, and join us for these remarkable concerts!
