Join Amethyst Chamber Ensemble for an evening of hauntingly beautiful music exploring the poignancy, mystery, and transcendence of life—and its ultimate end. Featuring a vocal quintet, piano, and violin, Intimations of Mortality journeys through solos, duets, and chamber ensemble repertoire that moves from intimate reflection to moments of drama, darkness, and unexpected delight.

With music by Brahms, Verdi, Strauss, and Saint-Saëns' thrilling Danse macabre, along with other musical gems, this evocative program reminds us that while none of us gets out alive, we might as well enjoy the journey.

Featuring Mary Sullivan, soprano; Joelle Morris & Jenna Guiggey mezzo-soprano; Josh Witham, tenor; Paul Jessen, bass and in partnership with pianist Christina Spurling, and violinist Katherine Liccardo.
